Film: Holy Spirit Come

I've now watched the 'film' from my baptism day just a few too many times! The first time was amazing and time and time after it gradually started to become just one of those things. Anywho, we watched it again in the Carols by Candlelight last night and it really began to speak to me. I was reminded of how God's got to be Number One in my life (as I was quoted!) and just the whole act of washing away the old and bringing the new. As I watched last night, I almost felt as if the whole thing was taking place again, I was being made clean again and God was giving me a clean slate. This week has been a testing week, yet God has triumphed and I believe watching this film was God reminding me that he was there and that I've got through this week with his help.
Then I was in the car on the way home from Mark's after the service and Tim Hughes' 'There must be more' came on. As I was singing along, as I do, I became really passionate about the words and really aware of how there's got to be more of God. When I became a Christian, I didn't really know what was going on, since then I've learnt so much more and being able to get baptised, was more from God, and progress I've made since, was more from God. So just as God used various people, passages and praise to help me get to where I was back on the 6th June, I believe he's gonna keep giving me more and help me to move on to new heights since 6th June. He's already started His work in me and He's gonna keep going til the day of completion.
